Different types of pipe coating – tailored to your operation

External coating protects the pipe from external environmental influences and mechanical stress.

The most commonly used solutions include:

  • Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE)
  • Epoxy and polyurethane-based coatings for underground piping systems and critical utility networks
  • Galvanization and thermal sprayed zinc (TSZ/TSA)

Internal protection reduces friction, minimizes deposits and prevents chemical breakdown.

Coating of pipes according to ISO standards

Professional coating of pipes requires documented quality. We work according to, among other things:

  • ISO 12944 – Corrosion protection of steel structures, including piping systems .
  • ISO 21809 – Coating systems for oil and gas pipelines.
  • ISO 8501-1 – Surface preparation and cleanliness standards.
  • ISO 15589 – Cathodic protection of pipelines.

The standards ensure high performance, technical durability and reliable installation.

Pipes are affected from both the inside and the outside – and without the right protection, this can lead to serious damage and operational disruption. Coating pipes creates a resistant surface that prevents degradation and ensures stable operation, even in aggressive or complex environments.
