We offer coating solutions that have special properties in relation to the many challenges our customers have with, for example, corrosion and erosion, on both metals and concrete. We work World wide, on- and off-shore.
In order to deliver “State of the Art” solutions, we use high-tech and modern equipment. Surface preparation before coating is essential to achieve optimal quality. Jakob Albertsen therefore uses Sponge-Jet, which is an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to the more traditional cleaning methods. We have a large capacity for automatic shot blasting and free jet blasting, divided into stainless steel and steel. We have a large capacity for our ovens and booths for powder and FBE.

Advanced coating and metallization solutions
Our wet coating booths can be sectioned and have large crane capacity. We can cure fully automatically with IR (InfraRed Curing). Our metallization booths are configured for both Alu and Zinc-Alu. Coating with advanced composite materials (ARC) takes place in separate rooms with a controlled environment to achieve optimal results.
The majority of our production takes place in our own premises, spread over 2 locations in Denmark. In addition, we carry out many tasks for our customers at their locations, for example on equipment that cannot be moved.
Jakob Albertsen is driven by quality and development of new solutions. We have ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and have our own Frosio inspectors. Jakob Albertsen offers almost all types of coatings, from thin hybrid coatings of a few microns with unique properties, up to strong ceramic wear coatings of up to 6000 microns. In addition, we offer metallization and polyurea coatings.
Erosion protection of metal and concrete
Erosion protection of metal and concrete is important. Without the correct protection, metal and concrete can quickly degrade from particles, chemicals and temperature. Here, coatings are essential and necessary to maintain the integrity of the steel and concrete, as well as to extend its service life. Effective erosion protection reduces the need for repairs and reduces the risk of structural failure and accidental collapse.
