Coating solutions for the marine industry

Jakob Albertsen has 40 years of experience with coating solutions for the marine industry. It began with Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating on pipes for ballast, drains, and engine cooling. These many pipes on all newbuildings at the then Lindøværft were protected with Fusion Bonded Epoxy, inside and out, for a period of more than 30 years. Later it was expanded to filters, tanks and containers, which were coated with ceramic coating. There are several different coating types, such as high temperature, low friction, chemical resistance, wear resistance, flexibility. We solve a number of tasks including Sponge-Jet blasting, while working with, for example, disassembly and assembly of engines or welding in the immediate vicinity, without disturbing, delaying or causing pollution.

Jakob Albertsen supplies the following to the marine industry, for example:

• Coating of pipes, coolers, filters, tanks and containers
• Sponge-Jet blasting both inside and outside the ship
• Internal coating of drinking water tanks etc.
• Ceramic coating is used for abrasion or chemicals
